Day by day

  1. Day 1Baghdad: Freedom Monument, Ziggurat of Aqar Quf, Rashid Street, Al-Safafeer Market, Darbuna Restaurant, Al-Mutanabbi Street, Al-Sarai, and Shabandar Café.
  2. Day 2Babylon: Ancient Kingdom of Babylon, Tower of Babel Archaeological Museum, Ishtar Gate, Lion of Babylon, and Saddam Hussein Palace. Continue to Karbala to visit the shrines and museums of Imam Hussein and his brother Abbas. Overnight stay in Karbala.
  3. Day 3Ur: Explore the ancient Sumerian city and its famous Ziggurat, then visit Al-Chibayish Marshes for a boat tour, enjoy traditional Masgouf fish, and spend the night in a traditional reed house.
  4. Day 4Uruk: Explore the ancient Sumerian city, then return to Baghdad to visit the Martyr Monument, Heritage Rescue Monument, and Al-Kadhimiya Shrine. Overnight stay in Baghdad.
  5. Day 5Samarra: Visit the Malwiya Minaret and Abu Dalf Mosque, then explore the ancient archaeological city of Hatra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Mosul for a walk along the Tigris River and a visit to the Mosul Heritage House Museum. Overnight stay in Mosul.
  6. Day 6Explore Old Mosul, Al-Nouri Mosque and Al-Hadba Minaret, Al-Musfi Mosque, Mar Toma Church, the ancient Assyrian city of Nineveh and Adad Gate, and Our House Museum. Overnight stay in Mosul.
  7. Day 7Visit Lalish Yazidi Temple, Sennacherib Dam in Jurana, Erbil Citadel, Erbil Bazaar, and Al-Muzaffariyya Minaret. End the journey in Erbil.
